After a month away on parental leave, I’m back, sleep deprived but happy, and really, really grateful for this church. It’s a rare and wonderful thing to step away and know, without a doubt, that everything is in good hands. And sure enough, thanks to all of you, things carried on not just smoothly but beautifully...

Why do we resist what’s good for us?

Not just in the obvious ways but in the small, daily choices that pull us away from who we’re meant to be. Lent is a time to confront this, not with guilt but with honesty. This Sunday, we begin our Lenten series, The Anatomy of Sin: An Exploration of Sin and Other Uncomfortable Truths, by looking at rebellion. Not just rule-breaking but the deeper, quieter ways we resist God’s love even when we long for it.

Join us this Sunday at 10am as we explore what this means for our lives. Stay after for coffee and conversation. We would love to see you.

Last night, Chef Ahmed served up Korean Bulgogi Beef and Spicy Tofu with rice, tzatziki, and pita. We served 262 meals, shared good food, and built community.
