The First Sunday of Advent30 November at 10am ... In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low... and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed.’” - Isaiah 40:3-5 What does it mean to have hope, for a better life, or a better world? This week at St. George's, we are invited to think about why we desire good things, renewed relationships and healing, as we prepare for the First Sunday of Advent. Advent is a season of beginnings, arrivals and longing. On Sunday, we will light the candle of Hope, and we will come to understand why Jesus' arrival becomes more than a happy story: it is the fulfillment of hope itself. As we celebrate the baptism of two of St. George's beloved littles, brother-and-sister Kobe and Momoko Becic, we are invited to see how God's sacraments solidify His promise of union, through His Son, our Christ. Please join us this Sunday at 10am and join us for a hot cup of coffee or tea, a boatload of treats and a wholesome tête-à-tête.

Belonging to God in Real LifeFrom teaching to practice, from grace to generosity - Tuesday, November 18, 2025 Over the past several weeks, we have walked together through the stories of God’s people. Kings, prophets, disciples, and ordinary men and women whose lives were interrupted by grace. Each week invited us deeper into one question: What happens when we stop living on our own terms and step into the life that God is offering? If you missed any of the sermons, or want to revisit them, you can find the full series here: Sermon Series // Generosity 2025 For more infomation visit:
