The Second Sunday of Advent7 December at 10am He shall not judge by what his eyes see… but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth. - Isaiah 6: 3, 4 When we long for peace, what are we longing for? A quiet mind? A brief sense of ease? Or a force far more enduring, something that reaches into our habits, our reactions, and reshapes the smallest movements of our hearts? This week at St. George's, we are invited to reflect upon what true peace is, and we long for wholeness, reconciliation, and rest. On Sunday, we light the candle of Peace, and we will come to understand why Jesus’ arrival is more than a comforting story: it is the very gift and source of God’s peace, a peace that heals, restores, and makes all things new. It is a peace we repent toward, we practice in community, and we look forward to because Jesus has come, and will come again. Please join us this Sunday at 10am and join us for a hot cup of coffee or tea, a bevy of sweets and friendship.

Kings, prophets, disciples, and ordinary men and women whose lives were interrupted by grace. Each week invited us deeper into one question: What happens when we stop living on our own terms and step into the life that God is offering? If you missed any of the sermons, or want to revisit them, you can find the full series here: Sermon Series // Generosity 2025 For more infomation visit:

HOPEThe Gifts Only God Gives - Sunday, November 30, 2025 Can we really trust that tomorrow is better than today? Advent begins by asking where we place our hope and whether it is strong enough to shape our lives right now. Rev.
