Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you all. As we continue in the joy of Christmastide, I am grateful for each of you and thankful for the life we share together as a parish as we step into 2026.

Before looking ahead, we want to pause and give thanks for the great gift of our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services. They were a true blessing. Many were encouraged and renewed through worship, prayer, and song, and most importantly, the Lord was worshipped and glorified in our midst. I am especially grateful to the many volunteers who served so generously in a wide range of ways to make these services possible, and to those who offered special Christmas gifts. Every contribution, in every form, truly does help and supports the ongoing life and ministry of our church.

This coming Sunday we will celebrate the Epiphany of the Lord and begin a new teaching series titled High Christology. During the season of Epiphany, we turn our attention to the ways God reveals himself in the life and ministry of Jesus. As Christians, we take seriously the claim that God has made himself known to us in the Lord Jesus Christ. Over the coming weeks, we will explore these moments of revelation and consider how they prepare us to receive the gift of Christ’s self-giving love on the cross.

I am very much looking forward to reconnecting with you this Sunday as we worship, listen, and learn together.

God bless you, and I will see you soon.

Love,

Rev. Seth
