About

Brit Enriquez

Wedding Coordinator

Brit’s story is one of faith, love, and resilience. Born in Calgary, she studied Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations at the University of Toronto, focusing on Islamic Studies. After being widowed at 23, Brit and her daughter Eve became a close-knit little family. Years later, she met Seth at Wycliffe College, and together they’ve built a joyful, growing family with their children Augie, Mae, and Jo.

Brit’s heart beats for Jesus, and she brings that passion to her role as St. George’s Wedding Coordinator. She’s an avid reader, always up for a great conversation over coffee, and ready to offer a warm smile and welcome when you visit us on Sundays. Brit’s warmth and joy make her a vital part of our community, and she’d love to get to know you!

Hollis Kwan

Theological Intern

Hollis is a second-year seminarian at Wycliffe College in Toronto. He came to faith at age eight through a street preacher, and soon began sharing the gospel with his own family and close friends. As that passion for evangelism grew, Hollis threw himself into church ministry, serving on the music team and in media production, at the food bank, and in preaching. Serving as an acolyte introduced him to Anglican liturgy for the first time, and his appreciation for this form of worship has only deepened since. Here at St. George’s, Hollis is leading Alpha, helping lead Bible study, preaching, and serving at Banff Food & Friends. Hollis is a talented country musician who loves southern gospel music and writes his own country tunes, an expression of his love for simple country life.

Cathy Moynihan

Rector’s Warden

Jane Russell

Deputy Rector's Warden

Jane’s faith journey began in the Anglican Church, first in the UK and later in Canada after her family moved. Her connection to the church deepened in high school, when her mum, Cory, pursued a Master of Divinity at the Vancouver School of Theology and was ordained as an Anglican minister. During university breaks, Jane often joined her mum on pastoral care visits, bringing comfort and joy by playing hymns and Bach on her viola. Now a mum herself, Jane is passionate about creating opportunities for her children to grow in their own relationship with God, fostering faith and love in their lives.

Rick

People's Warden

Rick has been rooted in the Anglican Church of Canada since childhood, growing up in the eastern part of the country and remaining active in the church throughout his life. A recent two-year term on another parish’s Council gave him valuable experience he’s excited to bring to St. George’s. Rick spent 40 years in the transportation and financial services industries across Canada and the United States. Outside of work, he enjoys snowshoeing, reading, and travelling, always on the lookout for new adventures and insights. Rev. Seth’s leadership and preaching inspired Rick to step into this role. He’s passionate about contributing to the growth and vitality of St. George’s, and eager to connect with the community and be part of what God is doing here.

Bill

Deputy People's Warden

Bill has been actively involved in church life everywhere he's lived. He moved to St. George's of the Pines in the winter of 2021, and Bill was appointed Incumbent Warden in the spring of 2023. He has since stepped away from that role and returned to parish leadership as Deputy People's Warden.

As an RCMP member, Bill's postings took his family across Canada roughly every four years. Now retired from the force, he lives in Golden, BC, where he has started a photography business. Bill and Mary have two children and eight grandchildren, all in the Edmonton area.

Bill is looking forward to getting to know everyone and hopes you'll feel free to approach him about anything. He's excited to take on the role of Deputy People's Warden and to see where God leads him in it.

Charlynn Odegard

Parish Council

Charlynn has called Banff home for three years, though her heart is still tied to Edmonton, where she spent most of her life raising a family, teaching, and building community. These days, she crafts and sells gelato locally and teaches ESL through Bow Valley Learning. She finds joy in outdoor adventures, gardening, yoga, good coffee, and meaningful conversation. Church and congregational life sit at the centre of her values, alongside a deep commitment to lifelong learning and listening for God’s quiet guidance. Being part of St. George’s brings Charlynn great joy. To her, this ministry is a true gem in Banff, and she feels blessed to be part of its life and mission.
