At St. George’s, we believe in the power of prayer. Our Prayer Team is a small, trusted group of church members committed to praying regularly and reverently for the needs of our congregation and community.

Whether you’re walking through illness, grief, uncertainty, or simply need someone to lift you up in prayer, we are here to help carry those burdens before God.

How It Works

To submit a prayer request, email prayer@stgeorgebanff.com.

When you send a request, please let us know:

• Whether your request is for clergy only or may be shared with our prayer team

• If it’s shared with the prayer team, whether you’d like the request to be anonymous or if you’re comfortable with your name being shared

Even if your name is included, your request will never be shared beyond the confidential prayer team. Our members are committed to strict confidentiality and are here only to pray, never to speculate, discuss, or intervene.

Who Is the Prayer Team?

The Prayer Team is made up of trusted members of St. George’s who have committed to confidentiality, reverence, and faithful intercession. They do not offer advice or follow up unless requested. Their role is simply to pray, quietly and consistently, for those in need.
