The Upper Room is a shared community space at St George’s, located in our upper hall and open during office hours. It is a place to pause, work, read, think, and simply be for a while.
You’ll find the Upper Room at St George’s, 100 Beaver Street. Enter through the main front doors of the church, then take the door immediately to your right and head upstairs. You’re welcome to bring your laptop, a book, or a notebook, and to bring your own coffee or tea and settle in.
There is space to spread out, a piano for those who would like to play, and room for conversation or quiet work as it naturally unfolds. You do not need to rush, and you do not need a reason beyond needing a place to land for a bit.
Our hope is that the Upper Room serves as a true third space in Banff, somewhere between home and work, where people are welcome to spend time, create, rest, and connect.
The Upper Room is open during our regular parish office hours, when staff are on site and the church is open to the public. You’re very welcome to drop in during these times.
