In week 3 of our Eastertide series Following Jesus in Real Life, we’ll ask what it means to truly listen for the Spirit in a world full of noise and how we can know it’s really Jesus we’re following.

What a night! Thanks to Zyka Banff, we served a record 375 meals. They covered the full cost of the evening and brought incredible food. We’re so grateful for their generosity.

The menu included spring rolls, fresh salad with mint and tamarind chutney, coconut curry, pancharathna dhal, and butter chicken. It was a feast.

We received $503.70 in cash and $142.25 online, for a total of $645.95. Thank you to everyone who gave, helped, and joined us. You make it all happen.

There is a moment in Boyz n the Hood that has never really left me. Furious Styles takes his teenage son and his friend to a street corner in Compton, where a sign offers to buy local homes for cash.
